LIFE-SAVING FUNDS: Dave Thomas of South Kelsey Indoor Bowls Club presents cheques for £250 to Margaret Smith, Press Officer for the RNLI Caistor, Brigg & Market Rasen Fundraising Branch.

FUNDRAISING throughout the season resulted in Dave Thomas, on behalf of the members of the South Kelsey Indoor Bowling Club present the Lifeboats (Royal National Lifeboat Institution) with cheques for £250 to Margaret Smith, the Press Officer of the RNLI Caistor, Brigg & Market Rasen Fundingraising Branch, at their annual social gathering and trophy presentations.

In accepting the cheque, Margaret thanked members, telling them that the Branch is really 'bowled over' by the amount raised. She promised that every penny raised will help to save lives at sea. She asked the members to recognise that the lifeboats also operate lifeguards and flood rescue services, all of which can benefit any of those present, even if they are not at the seaside.Margaret Smith, press officer, RNLI Caistor, Brigg and Market Rasen Fundraising Branch.
